Introductory Courses
There are now three courses open to all interested adults, without prerequisite.
Progress & Poverty. Henry George's most important book provides the
basis for our course of the same name. The course is offered in
two versions and is the first of our three-course
sequence in Principles of Political Economy.
Poverty, Liberation, and Land Reform focuses
mainly on efforts to aid the "developing" world, and shows how economic
principles can be applied more effectively.
Social Problems is a new course which introduces
Henry George's thought on a range of contemporary issues.
Advanced Courses
Those who have completed Progress and Poverty are invited to take
the advanced courses of our core sequence:
Economic Science extends and
systematizes the material from the previous two courses).
A certificate is awarded upon completion of each course, and those who have completed
Progress & Poverty, Applied Economics, and Economic Science receive an additional
certificate for completing the Principles of Political Economy sequence.
