Right
on the streets of every American community robbery takes place every
day. How can local, state, and national government claim the need
to tax our labor when there is so much real value that the community
creates but fails to collect? On this mile and a half walk we'll see
some of this value and understand who takes it and what it costs the
rest of us. We'll discuss what a free market really is, and how

Fiscal Stimulus Please Stand Up?
Come
for an evening with Bob Jene to compare the Georgist fiscal reform to
the TARP bailout, the Fair Tax, the Flat Tax, the Bush tax cuts and
government money creation. Each of the proposed measures to get out of
the recession will be evaluated on a scale of 1 to 10 based on eight
criteria. Free.

A wonderful comedy with an intelligent cast, including Jean Arthur,
Cary Grant, and Ronald Colman. Grant is a fugitive, hiding out
with unsuspecting professor Colman and landlady Arthur, who tries to
convince the legal-minded Colman that there's a human side to all
