We recommend that new students start with our fundamental Progress & Poverty course, which is offered in two different versions. This is offered each term, along with one or more advanced and/or enrichment courses.

We have plenty of other courses to choose from, however. Not every course is taught each semester; sometimes we alternate.

College credit may be available for those who take the three-course sequence of Progress & Poverty, Applied Economics, and Economic Science.  More information is here.

Pre-register for a course today!  If you’ve already pre-registered by phone or otherwise, you can pay your $25 registration fee by bringing or mailing a check, money order, or cash to the Henry George School. (address)

“The purpose of studying economics is not to acquire a set of ready-made answers to economic questions, but to learn how to avoid being deceived by economists.”
- Joan Robinson
